My current position requires me to accommodate students so that they have access to the grade level curriculum. I have also worked with students on the Autism Spectrum, students with Central Auditory Processing Disorder, and a multitude of behavioral concerns. Over the past few years, I have also worked with students who speak languages other than English.
I have been trained in PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports. I was my school building's coach for that program for 5 years. I have also been trained in UDL, Balanced Literacy, Inclusion, Differentiation, and much more.
I co-teach grade level curriculum as well as work with my students in both small groups and 1:1 settings.
