Reinforcing these connections allows students to turn weaker areas into lasting strengths.
I worked at Mathnasium for two years and have extensive experience working with students of all ages and skill levels. In addition, I have been the lead teaching assistant in a neuroscience lab for two years, where I guide students on their path to becoming future scientists through lab demonstrations, scientific literature review, data analysis, and poster creation. These experiences have taught me not only how to explain difficult concepts, but how to recognize when a student needs a different explanation or approach.
My favorite part of being a tutor is watching a student become progressively more confident in their abilities as sessions progress and seeing that confidence translate into excelling on their exams.
