Hi I'm Jenna! I'm a biology and environmental science major graduating from Binghamton University this May (with a GPA of 3.85). I have a strong passion for ecology and science in general and also have an interest in mathematics. I've always excelled in my classes due to the study techniques I utilize and willingness to reach out for help when I need it. For example, throughout my undergraduate years, I have been to a number of tutoring sessions that have greatly increased my knowledge and confidence within a certain subject. And now, I would love to be able to make this same positive impact on other students.
I also have a bit of volunteer tutoring experience during my junior and senior years of high school, tutoring younger high school students mainly in biology, chemistry, and algebra. I enjoyed this experience because it was so rewarding to see that the work you do actually makes a direct difference in someone's life, education, and confidence.
I am open to any suggestions or resources that the student or parent may provide, as my goal is for the student to benefit as much as they can from my tutoring service. I'm flexible with my hourly rate, tutoring location, and topic as well, although I do have more expertise and experience with science and math.
