I am a Level 5 TEFL-certified English teacher with specialized certifications in Teaching Business English, Teaching English Online, and Tutoring English. My professional background has been rooted in education and communication for many years. I previously taught film and video editing in New York City to teenage and adult students and later developed and led educational programs in media literacy and film production as the founder and executive director of a community arts and education organization.

Since transitioning into English language teaching, I have worked with adult learners and business professionals both in person and online, including one-on-one instruction. My students have included professionals from a variety of fields who wanted to strengthen their conversational English, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, fluency, and ability to communicate effectively in professional situations. I design lessons around each learner's level, interests, and individual goals.

My teaching approach is communicative and student-centered. I introduce language through meaningful contexts and encourage students to notice patterns and discover how the language works through guided questions rather than simply giving them the answers. Students then have opportunities to apply what they have learned through conversation and practical activities. I believe learners build confidence and retain language more effectively when they are actively involved in the learning process, and I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and learning from mistakes.
