Hello, my name is Jithin, and I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in math—whether they’re strengthening foundational skills in elementary math or preparing for the GRE quantitative section.
Not long ago, I was in the same position as many students, working to fully understand concepts and prepare for exams. With the support of a great tutor, I strengthened my mathematical foundation and developed effective strategies for solving GRE quantitative problems. I believe every student learns differently, so I focus on understanding each student’s skill level, learning style, and goals. I create personalized study plans that strengthen core concepts, improve problem-solving skills, and build strong time-management strategies. Patience and encouragement are central to my teaching approach, and I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
In addition to GRE prep, I have extensive experience teaching elementary math. During my undergraduate studies in India, I tutored elementary students for four years, helping over 50 students build a strong math foundation and confidence through a patient, student-focused approach.
I hold a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and worked as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Houston, supporting over 100 undergraduate students in quantitative subjects. I currently work as a Senior Data Analytics Manager at a Fortune 500 company, where I apply math and analytical problem-solving daily.
