Hi, I’m Nour! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences from the University of Manitoba, where I also worked as a Teaching Assistant in biology and anatomy. After that, I completed a Master’s in Public Health and Healthcare Administration at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, and I am now pursuing a second Master’s in Health Informatics as I prepare for a future career in medicine.
I know from experience that subjects like biology, physiology, and nutrition can feel overwhelming at first. Many students only take them as prerequisites, but with the right guidance, these courses don’t have to be stressful. I’ve worked with students in exactly that position and helped them not only improve their understanding but also raise their grades, often to B+ and higher.
My teaching style is clear, patient, and tailored to each student. I focus on simplifying complex concepts and connecting them to real-world health and medical applications, which makes the material easier to remember and more engaging. I enjoy working with high school, college, and pre-med students, and I always make sure that each session leaves you feeling more confident and in control of the material.
Science can be challenging, but it can also be exciting. My goal is to help you succeed and even enjoy the process along the way. I look forward to working with you!
