I am an Applied Mathematics and Statistics student at Stony Brook University and a Simons STEM Scholar, offering tutoring in algebra, geometry, precalculus, calculus, and introductory statistics. I am fully bilingual in Spanish and English, and I specialize in supporting students who learn better or more comfortably in Spanish. My goal is to make math clear and approachable for every student, no matter their starting point.

I have experience tutoring middle school, high school, and early college students through one-on-one sessions and academic support programs. In the past, I have helped students strengthen core math skills, prepare for exams, and gain confidence in classes they once found overwhelming. Because many of the students I tutor face language-related challenges, I take time to explain vocabulary, break down steps clearly, and use examples that connect to their own way of understanding.

My approach is patient, personalized, and focused on true comprehension rather than memorization. I begin by identifying the student’s strengths and struggles, then build a plan that fits their pace and learning style. Whether a student needs help catching up, getting ahead, or mastering new concepts, I work to make each lesson simple, clear, and productive. I believe every student can succeed in math with the right guidance, and I’m committed to helping them reach that point.
