I'm a certified lifeguard, certified water safety instructor, and also a former member of the Knolls swim team. Hi! My name is Nicole and I am a soon to be college sophomore, business administration major at SUNY Geneseo. I'm a certified lifeguard, certified water safety instructor, and also a former member of the Knolls swim team. I have been a lifeguarding at my local town pool since 2016 and have taught group swim lessons there since 2017 as well. I received my water safety certification through the Red Cross and have been teaching swim lessons from children ranging from ages 4 to 12 for 2 years now. Over the last 2 years I have become very skilled at gearing my swim lessons to each student and making sure that they succeed in achieving their individual goals while having fun at the same time.
I love working with children, I understand the importance of balancing instruction with fun, I want them to look forward to lessons and enjoy learning how to swim! In addition to working by the water, I am also a babysitter. Therefore, I am very experienced with watching children and acting as their friend rather than teacher or sitter. I also have my own car so transportation would not be a problem at all. My schedule this summer is very flexible and would be willing to work with whatever times you need!
