I’m an Ivy League–educated computer scientist with a PhD from Princeton and a Bachelors from Cornell Engineering. I especially enjoy helping students build confidence and make progress in their classes. I began tutoring K–12 students in high school and became a go-to resource in my neighborhood for homework help and exam preparation. I've also taught formal computer science and math courses as a teaching assistant during my undergrad and grad studies. I’ve also supervised many Princeton senior thesis projects and mentored junior engineers during my time as a founder at a YCombinator-backed tech startup.

I currently work as a Software Engineer at a FAANG company. My academic background includes National Merit Scholar recognition, graduating as valedictorian of a class of over 600 students, and National AP Scholar recognition. I earned a 2320 on the SAT (on the 2400-point scale) and a 337 on the GRE.

I tutor computer science, cybersecurity, programming, and related technical coursework. My teaching experience has shown me that students learn best when they understand the reasoning behind a solution, not just the steps to copy. I start by finding out what the student already understands, explain difficult ideas in clear, manageable pieces, and work through examples together. Then I have the student try the next problem independently so we can find and address any remaining gaps.

I can help students understand course material, work through homework thoughtfully, prepare for exams, and build confidence in technical subjects. I can also help with mentorship, career advice and guidance for those interested in technical careers, startups, academia and more. I aim to create a supportive, patient environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and leave each session better equipped to solve problems on their own.

Computer Science

I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Princeton and work as a software engineer at a FAANG technology company. At Cornell, I was a course assistant and teaching assistant for four semesters in COS 1110 and COS 2110, and I later TAed Princeton’s COS 432 cybersecurity course. I have also mentored three senior thesis projects at Princeton and a summer intern at Crosslayer. I help students understand concepts, reason through problems step by step, and solve new problems independently.
Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity

I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Princeton and founded a Y Combinator–backed cybersecurity company. My research has focused on Internet and systems security, including DNS, BGP, web PKI, and network resilience. At Princeton, I was a teaching assistant for COS 432, a cybersecurity course. I bring together academic research, startup experience, and industry work as a FAANG software engineer.
