Hi, I’m Felicia! I’m a certified science teacher for grades 5–12 with a Master’s degree in Science Education from Stony Brook University. I offer tutoring in elementary and middle school math and science, high school biology, science electives, Biology Regents prep, and study skills. I’m especially familiar with the new NYS Regents exam format and align my support with the NYSSLS and NGSS standards.

I have over two years of tutoring experience and have helped students go from failing grades to consistently earning scores in the 80s and 90s. I work closely with each student to set realistic goals, develop personalized study strategies, and build the skills they need to succeed. I’m also happy to collaborate with parents to create a structured learning plan that supports progress between sessions.

I use visuals and real-world examples to help make complex concepts easier to grasp, and I can also assist students in creating study guides and organizational tools that suit their learning style. I’ve worked with students with IEPs and 504 plans, and I always aim to create a supportive, welcoming learning environment where students feel heard and capable.

I offer both online and in-person sessions (based in Long Island, NY), and I’m flexible in finding what works best for your child’s schedule and needs. My goal as an educator is to build confidence and curiosity so students don’t just succeed in school but feel empowered as lifelong learners.
