I am currently a student at American Public University online with one course remaining to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Space Studies. The Space Studies major is a general degree program that emphasizes astronomy, history of space exploration, orbital mechanics, rocket propulsion, and space policy. Professionally, I am employed in several areas. I am a professional drummer and private drum teacher located in the Central New York State. As a drum teacher, I teach students of all ages and levels of experience on a one-to-one basis. I have over 40 years experience as an in-demand drum player and 7 years experience as a sought out teacher.
I am employed in the Cayuga Onondaga BOCES school program as a substitute teacher aide working with K-12 students who have special needs. I work one-on-one in all areas of math, science, and social studies. Working with students with special needs requires patience, understanding, and the ability to adjust the teaching methods according to the individual student.

My math skills are advanced with training in algebra, trigonometry and calculus. I have experience teaching elementary math thru high school math, which gives me the ability to teach K-12, college, and special education.

I have advanced education and training in general science, astronomy, and space studies, with proficiency in physics, chemistry, and biology.

I have college level education in history, government and political science. I work as a volunteer with several space advocacy organizations with 20 years of experience in space policy issues.
