I am an experienced language teacher. I am a native speaker of Italian and I am fluent in French Spanish and German. I have a BA in Linguistics, a Master's in European Politics, a Master's in Italian Studies from the University of Washington and a Ph.D in Comparative Literatures from the University of Binghamton.

Giovanni helped me with many of my Intermediate Spanish homework assignments. I had only very basic knowledge of Spanish before meeting with him. With him guiding my use of vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciations, I was able to score high marks on all my assignments. I was not so confident at the start of the semester but by the end I was so relieved to receive an A in the class which would not have happened without his help. The assignments were long and often involved many steps, yet Giovanni was patient and didn't rush so I learned properly. Giovanni was very easy to schedule time with, and he was quick to respond. He is very well versed in use of technology and communication skills. I can't recommend him enough to anyone needing help with Spanish or any of the other languages he tutors.

Great to work with and supportive
Giovanni definitely knows his stuff. My son is dyslexic and honor. Spanish three was a very difficult course for him to get through. We had him work with Giovanni once a week to ensure that he would maintain his honorable status of getting at least a B or higher in the course. Naturally, foreign languages for those with dyslexia is even more difficult and luckily we had Giovanni to help teach him where in school instruction was not enough. He ended up with a B in the class overall, which is exactly what we were hoping for and kept him on task. As well, he was flexible and easy to communicate with as well. Thanks Giovanni for all your hard work this year as you worked with my son for the past six months and it paid off!

More than patient
I'm 66 years old and have never learned a 2nd language. It's also been years since I've attempted to learn anything in a "teaching" atomsphere. Giovanni is more and patient and very encouraging. I couldn't be happier.
