Looking for a fun and convenient way to learn English and history at the same time? I am a TEFL-qualified and experienced native English teacher and professional archaeologist in the Madrid area providing a fully-immersive experience in the comfort of your home, office, neighborhood café or even online.
I am trained as an archaeologist and have taught archaeology and anthropology for more than 8 years. I am a worker, patient and organized. I have obtained a wide range of teaching and leadership experiences. As my curriculum vitae indicates, my leadership roles have included teaching assistance, instructor, tutor, guest lecturer and mentor.
I have a PhD from UCD, a Masters from ISU, and an Anthropology degree from FAU. I am TEFL-certified and enjoy teaching all levels of English to professionals and students of the language in general. I work with the community of Oxinity teachers, which means that in my classes I use very varied and interesting resources and materials, since we do them together and we worry that the student always has updated, relevant and attractive material.
Instead of trying to memorize lists of words and grammar, I apply the relational model that allows the student to learn to associate ideas and concepts and have a great expressive capacity even with less level. I dramatically reduce the time of learning and I get in my classes to practice all the time what I learned through interaction. Contact me now!
