I personalize the tutoring session/s to provide and achieve individualized learning objectives and goals to fit a student's needs. Whether it is problem solving or generally helping with conceptual questions; I dedicate my time to guiding students in a way that will help them truly understand the concepts behind the material, while having them be able to apply it in their coursework. Of course this may not always be a simple task, but together we can make it work!

I have been an educator of various science and math courses for more than 10 years now. My educational background is mainly from studying Physics and Chemistry from college/undergraduate. There, I also worked as a Learning Assistant for the Physics Department for 4 years, working in the undergraduate labs and active learning classrooms. I also worked as a Learning Assistant in the Chemistry Department.
My tutoring experience is in maths up to Calculus III, General Chemistry I and II, and all General Physics I and II courses (with and without calculus). For students in FIU, I have more or less knowledge of how the instructors like to go about their classes, and may be able to offer particular advice for instructors. I also have worked with the FIUTeach program in developing lesson plans for a 7th grade honors Physical Science class. I also taught Physics and Astronomy classes at MDCPS (additionally Florida DOE certified to teach chemistry) for around a year.

UNIVERSITY CHEMISTRY KNOWLEDGEABLE

You need her if youre taking FIU GEN CHEMISTRY 1 or 2. Titration, stoichiometry, molarity, and limiting reagents were made much simpler after she explained it and showed me how to do them. I feel more confident for my chem final tomorrow. Really really good teacher.
