Hello, my name is Stephanie and I am recent graduate from Hofstra University.

About me: I received my Bachelors of Arts in English-Single Subject Matter from California State University, Northridge where I was a writing lab tutor as well as a student teacher. I have been a college student teacher for two years and a writing lab tutor for five years. I have worked at Chaffey Community College, Hofstra University, and California State University, Northridge, three highly accredited schools. I have also won awards, honorable mentions, and scholarships for my own writing. I can and am willing to work with any grade level.

In the 7+ years I have been a tutor, two of my students have been accepted to Doctoral and Masters programs, I have assisted in decreasing the drop-out rate for incoming freshmen and ESL students, and my formal education is being a teacher / tutor and I have been trained in how to teach grammar skills. With my services, I will give a diagnostic as well as create specialized lesson plans.
