Hi everyone, I'm Audra!
I am an Ivy League GMAT and GRE tutor with experience tutoring hundreds of students in all sections of both exams. My clients have been admitted to Harvard, Yale, Cornell, MIT, and more. I have a total of 10 years experience teaching one-on-one and in the classroom, including group GMAT and GRE classes with Magoosh. Last year, I received an Outstanding Teaching Award from the University of Pennsylvania for my work teaching graduate-level discrete mathematics (I graduated with my Masters of Computer and Information Technology from the university in 2023). Additionally, I have taught students of all ages and abilities in SAT, ACT, coding, algebra, geometry, reading, Latin, and more. I started out as a K-12 teacher for a variety of subjects in the Great Hearts charter school system. I taught there for three years, and have been tutoring GMAT/GRE ever since!
My approach to teaching is patient, customized, and effective. I will quickly get a feel for how you reason and learn, and teach you methods to improve that work for you. I usually teach with a virtual whiteboard, so we can interact with the content at the same time. I often illustrate concepts with diagrams and annotations. I'll also provide clear homework assignments so you can make the most of your study time between sessions.
My official scores are as follows:
GMAT (old version): 750 Composite, 49 Quant, 44 Verbal, 8 Integrated Reasoning (these questions are now in Data Insights), 6 AWA
GRE: 335 Composite, 168 Quant, 167 Verbal
Getting a high score on the GMAT or GRE isn't easy, but it can be done. I'll teach you the core skills you need to perform well across the entire exam. (Though if you just need help with a few tricky sections or question types, I can do that too!) I will always be honest with you about where you are and what you will need to do to meet your goals.
