I am a Yale Graduate with over a decade of experience tutoring math and science. I have worked with many students in both high school and college courses to boost confidence and achieve their goals. I enjoy helping students understand math and science. I work with them to understand the patterns and connections between different concepts to help deepen their comprehension and improve their retention. I ask questions and draw parallels to earlier ideas to help them connect new information with the ideas they already know.

I am confident helping students prepare for their AP tests by improving their understanding of the concepts and familiarity with the test and how it frames questions.

I also work with students on SAT and ACT prep, helping students feel confident and prepared on test day. I work with students on all sections of the test or individual parts depending on need. We focus on deconstructing how the test asks questions and strengthening understanding of the content.

I have been a test prep tutor for almost 15 years. I work with students to identify concepts they need reinforced so we can strengthen the understanding of the material. We also work on how to break down a problem to determine which concepts to apply and how to solve directly or work backwards from the answer choices using process of elimination.
