Hello! My name is Jared, and I am an elementary education student teacher with several years of experience working in special education classrooms. I am currently completing my certification in Childhood Education (Grades 1–6) while continuing to work directly with students who have a wide range of learning needs. My classroom experience has allowed me to support students with reading, writing, math, communication, executive functioning, and social-emotional development. I have experience implementing IEP goals, adapting lessons to meet individual learning styles, and helping students build both academic skills and confidence.

I believe that every student learns differently, so I take a patient, encouraging, and individualized approach to tutoring. Whether I am helping a student strengthen foundational reading skills, understand a new math concept, or complete homework assignments, I focus on breaking complex tasks into manageable steps while creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students become more confident, independent learners who understand why they are learning a concept.

I primarily work with elementary-aged students and enjoy supporting learners who need extra guidance, including those with learning differences or who simply benefit from additional one-on-one attention. I communicate openly with families, celebrate student progress, and tailor each lesson to meet the individual needs and goals of every child. I look forward to helping your student develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom.
