I am an experienced elementary educator with a strong passion for helping students reach their full potential. I hold a degree in Elementary Education and have spent over eight years teaching students in grades K through 5. Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse classroom settings, providing instruction in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. I also have extensive experience teaching Common Core–aligned curriculum to elementary students in grades K–5. My experience also includes supporting students with varied learning needs through small-group interventions, differentiated instruction, and individualized support plans.
In addition to classroom teaching, I have extensive experience tutoring students one-on-one both in-person and online. I focus on understanding each student’s unique learning style and building lessons that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to their needs. I emphasize developing foundational skills, fostering confidence, and encouraging a love of learning. Whether a student needs extra support in reading comprehension, math problem-solving, or overall study strategies, I adapt my approach to ensure they are challenged appropriately while feeling supported.
