My name is Lavender and I am a junior at Hunter College in the Thomas Hunter Honors Program who has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout college. I graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 2023 with a 3.7 GPA and during my time at Stuyvesant, I tutored two small groups of 3-4 students in SHSAT prep through a mentorship program that I participated in. My name is Lavender and I am a junior at Hunter College in the Thomas Hunter Honors Program who has maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout college. More recently, I have been involved with my school's writing center and have provided revisions and one on one assistance for numerous college students' assignments and essays. I particularly specialize in English composition and history and would love to assist with writing on Wyzant as well.
I have even worked with elementary school children in a larger group setting of a summer day care and taught scientific topics such as the planets and the human body through lessons, art, and music, adapting to the levels and abilities of the students. Therefore, I am confident in tutoring all ages and in my skills to finetune each session for the particular student.
