I have met and used many tutors throughout high school and college and have never experienced a tutor like Sam. There is no question through his incredible academic achievements that Sam is beyond qualified to help in almost any subject imaginable. We have been working together for a few months now on my law school essays and I could not be more impressed and grateful for his help and support. He is deeply intellectual and always has a new relatable anecdote about life to share with me. Beyond his clear and eloquent knowledge of the subject material, what makes Sam stand out from other tutors is his deep care and desire to know his students on a personal level, outside of the typical business back and forth. Not only does this extra step create a comfortable and judgement free atmosphere, but it allows my writing to benefit greatly. I was never the student who felt like my writing was anything special, and for a while I felt vulnerable and uncomfortable sharing my writing samples with tutors, Sam has eliminated all of these anxieties with the learning environment he fosters. He is patient, warm, and holds you accountable. In stressful times like applying to law school and colleges, it is imperative to have a voice of reason, calmness, and one that is there to reassure you every step of the way, while also being able to offer you a little kick in the butt. Sam does all of this and more and I absolutely recommend him as your tutor, supporter, and confidant. I look forward to my continued progress with him through law school and beyond.
