While I am not experienced in tutoring specifically, I have extensive experience both writing and editing academic and business papers (the largest portion of my role at my previous job was proofreading and editing client-facing materials), due to my academic pursuits, I am familiar with the writing conventions for the humanities and social sciences. I believe I can be a significant help in improving writing at all levels.
Additionally, through my work as a sports coach (mostly soccer) and camp counselor, I have experience working with children from five through eighteen. I feel confident using my experience with children of these ages to help elementary through high school student improve their writing for English, History, Social Studies, and related classes.
