Hello, my name is Darren Smith and I have graduated with my Master of Arts degree in English from the State University at Albany. It was here that my passion for education really took hold as I worked alongside professors and students to edit and proofread some of their soon to be published work. This level of work, and the experiences they provided provided, has allowed for me to experience some of the best interactions in the educational environment; as well as provided a strong passion for igniting and stoking the flames for literature and writing in everyone.
I have taught college level courses on Critical Inquiry and Writing as an adjunct professor, which has helped to refine my style and help me to better adapt to the individual needs of each student with whom I have worked.
I have high proficiency in research and compositional work as it was a majority of my focus when teaching. That does not mean I am unable to assist in other facets of writing such as creative, writing, proofreading, editing and literature.
