In addition to academic settings I also have taught martial arts while serving in the U.S. Army, worked as a recreational aide in a correctional facility, in addition to substitute teaching in a local county facility for youths. My background includes working as a lifeguard and adult fitness instructor for the YMCA.
Teaching and coaching are, it seems to me, two sides of the same coin. We, young and old, are constantly honing our skill sets for a dynamic global village environment and marketplace. It's paramount that students, teachers, and parents keep their options open in order to remain vital and current.
I look forward to working with students who are earnestly and diligently seeking assistance to improve not only their own lives, but the lives of those that they encounter, and people that they have not even met yet!
I wish all students continued success in their educational endeavors!
