I am currently pursuing my PhD in Molecular and Cellular Physiology at Albany Medical College, with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students in biology. My areas of expertise include cell biology, cancer biology, genetics, metabolic biochemistry, and physiology.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY, where I was heavily introduced to teaching and lead the introductory biology course to freshman students, which sparked my enthusiasm for helping others understand complex scientific concepts.
Since then, I have continued tutoring independently and enjoyed working 1 on 1 with students to build confidence, improve understanding, and achieve academic success. In my current role at Albany Medical College, I contribute to teaching cardiovascular and respiratory physiology while completing my doctoral research on a rare sarcoma.
My long-term goal is to become a biology professor, and tutoring allows me to do what I enjoy most—making challenging material accessible, engaging, and rewarding for students.
