I am currently a senior at SUNY Albany pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and English, which I will complete in May. My academic background has required extensive analytical reading and writing, including research papers, policy analysis, and close textual interpretation. Through coursework in public law, international law, comparative politics, and advanced writing seminars, I have developed strong skills in essay structure, argument development, grammar, and clarity. My training in English has strengthened my understanding of composition and editing, while my political science coursework has sharpened my ability to break down complex material and communicate it clearly.

Although I have not held a formal tutoring title, I have significant experience supporting peers in writing and research. I have regularly provided feedback on classmates’ essays, helped revise drafts for clarity and organization, and assisted with outlining and thesis development. My academic work has required careful editing and revision, which has strengthened my ability to identify structural weaknesses, grammar errors, and areas where arguments can be improved. I am comfortable working one-on-one with high school or college students, guiding them through brainstorming, outlining, drafting, and revision.

I focus on helping students build confidence in their writing while maintaining accuracy and structure. My approach emphasizes organization, clear thesis development, strong paragraph structure, and careful proofreading. I am patient, detail-oriented, and comfortable explaining concepts step-by-step, whether working on academic essays, research papers, or SAT-level writing tasks.
