My approach is supportive, honest, and tailored to each student’s goals—whether they’re applying to BFA programs, specialized art high schools, or preparing for scholarships. Sessions can include portfolio critique, concept development, drawing and painting fundamentals, and guidance on presenting work with confidence.
My personal creative work has been shown in numerous exhibitions along the East Coast, most notably at the New York State Museum and the ICA in Portland, Maine. I received BFA in Painting from Maine College of Art and completed a master’s degree in Studio Art at the University at Albany.
I have over five years of experience teaching at the college and university level; specialzing in helping students prepare strong, competitive portfolios for art school and creative degree programs.
