I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish Education. In addition to my formal education, I have lived and studied abroad in Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries for multiple years, which has allowed me to develop a high level of fluency as well as a deep understanding of cultural context and real-world language use.
I have seven years of experience teaching Spanish in a classroom setting at the secondary level, working with a wide range of learners from beginners to advanced students, including those preparing for AP-level coursework. My teaching approach focuses on building practical communication skills while also developing strong foundations in grammar, reading, writing, and listening. I regularly use strategies such as structured conversation practice, targeted feedback, and differentiated instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Throughout my teaching career, I have worked with students of varying proficiency levels, backgrounds, and learning needs, including English learners and students requiring additional academic support. I have experience in both whole-class instruction and small group or one-on-one support, allowing me to adapt my methods to each individual student. My goal as a tutor is to create a supportive, engaging environment where students can build confidence and achieve measurable growth in their language skills.
