I grew up in Asuncion, Paraguay, a Spanish-speaking country. I taught English in Elementary schools in Paraguay, and I also tutored Spanish in my country, since I really like to teach languages.

This review is long overdue! Ms. Maria has been my Spanish tutor for 2 and a half years. I needed to strengthen my Spanish and reached out to her to practice conversational Spanish. She showed such patience and gives me the courage to push myself, even if I make mistakes. She also gives lessons to my 8 year old daughter! She sends me fabulous resources to review what we discussed in our lessons, and she is always available if I have questions. And I have noticed a HUGE improvement in my Spanish, and those around me have too. In the 2 and a half years that she has been giving me lessons, she has become more of a friend than a teacher! Thank you Ms. Maria. You are the best.
