I have thirty years of teaching experience including middle school, high school and college level Spanish. I also have clear credentials in Spanish, French, and Social Science: History minor. You will see improvement in your ability to retain and apply information. I will also help you get over language-learning and test-taking anxiety.

I am also an excellent writer with eight years of experience as a speech team coach. I can help you edit and improve any speech, whether it be for competition or for class. I love working one on one with students to prepare them academically and to give them self-confidence and encouragement. I have a passion for languages, patience with my students, and ability to encourage and bring out the best in my students.

I can give students effective test-taking techniques in reading. I am experienced in administering the PSAT and have excellent skills in time-management and test-taking techniques.

My credentialed minor is in Social Sciences, History. Also I have lived and traveled extensively abroad. Recently, I have participated in continuing education in French by taking an immersion course in Quebec City last summer and an intensive ten-week review course through Alliance Française this past fall. This spring I took another intensive immersion course at Accord Language School in Paris. I am a lifelong learner and will inspire you to be one also.

Expertise in world history acquired from living abroad in 3 European countries: Belgium, Germany and Spain. Have tutored AP European World History. Recently did an immersion course in French in Quebec City through Ècole du Monde and took a ten-week intensive course through Alliance Française.
