My tutoring philosophy centers on breaking down complex topics and ensuring students understand the "why" behind concepts rather than the "how". I like to ensure that each step makes sense and it is clear why we do it and how it leads in to the next step and process overall. I am proficient in tutoring an array of math subjects such as general elementary math, prealgebra, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus and calculus 1. My goal in every session is to not only build confidence but ensure subject mastery, ensuring a more positive feeling in mathematics.
