She not only knows her stuff, but has a deep-seated passion for watching her students thrive in the classroom. Her teaching style is different from most math teachers' because she believes that student-led, discovery-based learning is the best way for students to grow as learners and gain confidence in math. She never lets a student give up on themselves, and knows how to tailor instruction to meet the needs of her learners.
Outside of the classroom, Ashleigh has demonstrated her love for working with youth in the ways she has tutored multiple subjects one-on-one, coached high school volleyball, volunteered in youth ministry, held a Kids Ministry Coordinator position, and more. From these experiences, she's sharpened her skills in making learning more personal and fun.
