Brendan has been a great SAT math tutor and has been very helpful throughout my SAT experience so far. I’ve seen improvement in my math scores, and his teaching style is great for me as someone with a lot of academic anxiety. No matter how many times I tell him I don’t understand something, he never gets frustrated with me and instead tries to explain the concept in a way that makes sense to my thought process. His knowledge of the SAT (and math in general) and tips he provides are absolutely golden and have helped me so much in both knowing how to approach the math portion and be less anxious about the exam as a whole. He is a great tutor overall and puts a lot of effort into teaching. If there was an option for 6 stars I would rate that.

Very Helpful!
Brendan tutored my son in pre-calc in preparation for an upcoming quiz. My son has struggled with math for years and really wants to do well, meeting with his teacher every week during a free block. Still struggling, we booked a session with Brendan to get some outside help. My son said Brendan explained concepts in a way that he understood and it was more clear for him in comparison to the instruction from his teacher. He came out of the session relieved and less stressed. Thank you!!

Excellent and patient tutor
Brendan explains math problems to me in great detail and is patient when answering my questions about a topic. I am a high school senior this year and am glad I found this tutor. He breaks down problems well and uses good examples. He continues with me until he is sure I understand the topic. He is flexible with my schedule and a great tutor overall.
