I am a Certified Pharmacy Technician with over eight years of experience working in pharmacy settings, including hospital environments where I regularly worked with electronic medical record systems such as Epic and Willow. My experience includes reviewing patient charts, understanding laboratory results, assisting with medication reconciliation, and supporting clinical teams with accurate medication documentation. This hands-on experience allows me to explain pharmacy concepts in a practical way that students can actually understand and apply in real-world situations.
In addition to my pharmacy experience, I spent two years working as a pharmacy technician instructor where I helped train and mentor future technicians preparing to enter the field. During that time, I taught students how to understand medication classes, pharmacy law, dosage calculations, patient safety concepts, and the workflows used in both retail and hospital pharmacy settings. I worked closely with students one-on-one and in classroom settings to help them build confidence with the material and successfully prepare for certification exams such as the NHA and PTCB.
My tutoring approach focuses on breaking down complex pharmacy concepts into clear, easy-to-understand explanations. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, so I create a supportive learning environment where no question is too small. Whether a student needs help mastering pharmacy math, memorizing medication classes, understanding pharmacy law, or preparing for the NHA or PTCB exam, my goal is to help them feel confident and fully prepared for their next step in the pharmacy profession.
