Hey! I’m a junior college student majoring in math and education, and I’ve been tutoring students in math for over five years. I started by volunteering to help high school students and later expanded to learners from kindergarten through 12th grade. I’ve taught in one-on-one sessions, small groups, and classrooms. Right now, I help teach a 7th grade remedial math class and work with elementary and middle school students through volunteer programs. I also assist fellow college students with their math courses. I’m licensed to work as an assistant teacher in public schools and plan to earn my substitute teaching license within the next academic year. I graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA and earned a 35 on the math portion of the ACT.

Over the last five years, I’ve worked with students in subjects like Elementary Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, and Calculus AB and BC. I’ve helped students raise their test scores and gain confidence in these subjects. Specifically, I have significant experience tutoring Calculus to high schoolers and have helped hundreds of students earn 4s and 5s on their AP exams. I’m comfortable working with students at any level—whether they’re catching up, keeping up, or moving ahead. My approach is centered on meeting students where they are, moving at their pace, and explaining concepts in different ways until something clicks. I focus on the “why” behind the math, not just the steps, and connect topics to build long-term understanding.

As a current student, I understand how challenging math can feel—but also how rewarding it is when it finally makes sense. I strive to connect with students not just as a tutor, but as someone who’s been in their shoes. I’m here to create a supportive, low-pressure space where students feel comfortable, confident, and ready to grow.

Algebra 1

Algebra 1

I know Algebra isn't fun for everyone, but I guarantee I can teach it in a way that you'll understand. I've been tutoring Algebra specifically for over five years, both to middle schoolers and high schoolers. Whether you need help understanding the basics or want to learn some shortcuts, I'm here for you.
Algebra 2

Algebra 2

Algebra 2 was one of my favorite classes back in high school, and I'll make sure you are more comfortable with it. Back when I was student, I would always help my classmates with the material. I've been tutoring Algebra 2 for over five years now and will make it as easy as possible for you to understand.
Calculus

Calculus

AP Calculus AB and BC were the best classes I've ever taken and also what I have the most expertise in tutoring. I've helped hundreds of students get 4's and 5's on their AP tests through my tutoring. I know that many find it difficult and it isn't everyone's favorite, but I can guarantee I'll find a way to make you understand it no matter how you feel about it. I've had amazing teachers for these classes and I'll make sure you have the same experience I did.
Elementary Math

Elementary Math

I understand how important Elementary Math is since it teaches the foundational concepts for a student's math journey as well as determining their outlook on the subject. Currently, I'm volunteering at elementary schools to help tutor math to kids in need. I approach Elementary Math in an engaging and more friendly way to help students feel more comfortable. Whether you struggle with the subject or just want to get ahead, I'm here for you!
Prealgebra

Prealgebra

Back when I was a middle schooler, I didn't like pre-algebra at all mainly due to the way my teachers taught it. I understand that it can be difficult or boring, but I'll make sure to teach it in a way that's engaging. I've successfully helped both middle schoolers and high schoolers with pre-algebra for over 5 years. Pre-algebra is very important for a student's math journey so I'll do everything in my power to help you understand it.

Knowledgeable and Patient Tutor

We reviewed Differential Equations before my upcoming final exam. He did an excellent job reviewing all the material within the allotted time and was very kind and patient with any portions I did not understand or fully recall. Overall, he is a patient and well-versed tutor that is adaptive and helpful in any case.
