French and Linguistics tutor looking to work with new students

I have my B.A. in French, graduating with a 3.91 departmental G.P.A. As an undergraduate, I enrolled in graduate courses in French and won second place in the best essay contest for my department. Currently, I work as a French and Spanish interpreter for the leading OPI translation service in the nation, and I am a graduate student at USC. My areas of interest are French socio-historical linguistics, 19th-century French opera, French medieval studies, and second-language acquisition theory. According to second-language acquisition theory, the communicative method is the most effective way outside of complete immersion to learn a foreign language, and it is the method I use to teach French. My rates are lower than the standard because I believe education should be accessible to everyone. Upon request, I will send students useful hand-outs which will help with expressions and transitional phrases.
