I have tutored for nearly six years. All throughout high school I helped my classmates, teammates, friends, and siblings with work they struggled with. For the past two years, my first two in college, I have arranged study groups and sessions to help people succeed. These groups are often for classes I am not currently taking, but have taken in the past.
Tutoring has helped me realize that I want to be a teacher. I love when those I am helping really get the information, and you can tell it has clicked for them. While it can be difficult at times because everyone has different needs and styles, I thrive on the challenge it brings. It is not easy, but I look forward to it any time I have a chance to do it.

I have a strong grasp on prealgebra concepts. It was necessary for my higher level math courses, and I have used it in tutoring others in the past.

I am a Biblical Studies minor, which encompasses gaining a firm grasp on biblical concepts and understanding how to evaluate context, literary style, genre, and figurative language.
I have a strong hold on grammar, including different parts of speech and how to use them. This, in turn, gives me the ability to help others with their writing. I can help with research papers, persuasive essays, summaries, and any other type of writing assignment. Following the completion of an assignment, my understanding of English structure gives me the ability to proofread them for errors or points of confusion.

I would love to help you. I am a college student who is working on building her teaching abilities, and this is a great opportunity. My schedule is relatively flexible, outside of classes.
