I spent the last two years with Wells Fargo teaching all New Hire classes the job that included a full week's session as classroom proctor for a Series 7 "bootcamp" for those hired into the Wells Fargo Call centers to service existing clients. Played, coached and refereed soccer for 40 years, as well as having played college tennis.
I believe that learning by rote can be useful, but other techniques (mnemonic devices, other cognitive associations) are just as, if not more, effective according to the student's learning propensities.
I've accomplishes the end goal of obtaining FINRA registration personally, spent 15 years applying that knowledge in the Financial Services Industry, have administered group learning of the Series 7 exam repeatedly for New Hires into the Industry looking to be effective in that entry-level position.
My proclivity for teaching, imparting knowledge in an understandable way to each participant, works well with my athletic accomplishments in tennis and soccer as a player through the College level, and then coaching and refereeing as an adult.
We find a way for you to understand best. We do not assume your understanding and just move on. We move on when:
A) You tell me you are OK when you tell me "yes, I understand" and
B) We both believe that statement to be true.
