In 2010, I obtained an Associate degree in Elementary Education at the College of Southern Nevada. I will be graduating from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in December of 2015 with a Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education. It is my goal to complete my associate degree in Business as well as a Master Degree in Literacy & Language with Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) and Literacy Endorsements.

When I first enrolled in college I was majoring in Management Information System (MIS), but when I was hired by CCSD as a resource teacher assistant at an Elementary School, I realized that my true passion in life was working with students so, I decided to change my major to Elementary Education. I believe working with young learners is the most REWARDING job there is because the incredible joy I feel when seeing students gain new insights and become interested in a subject is amazing.
