Excellent tutor with extensive knowledge
I was struggling with college precal and chemistry classes and because they were summer courses there was plenty of material to cover in such short period. Jerry came over once a week for about a month to help me with topics in chemistry such as balancing chemical reactions, periodical trends, gas laws and a few others. With precal we went through several types of functions and graphs, and logarithms just to name a few. A day prior to each of our sessions, Jerry requested the topics i needed help with. He came prepared with a file folder containing many references and a text book as well. We went over homework questions and all questions i had prepared. Jerry is so kind and i felt comfortable asking anything about any topic. He provided many tutored notes from our sessions and sent some via email for anything i needed help with afterwards. He helped with homework even after the session. He taught in a way that was simple, methodical and easy to understand. Needless to say, Jerry was quite helpful and if you’re looking for a great tutor, PICK JERRY.

Excellent Tutor
Jerry did an awesome job with my son's Algebra II lesson. He went over the review sheet and tackled ever question by showing our son the simplest way to get the solution. Luke has a better understanding and more confidence going into the exam. Jerry's method of teaching is without a doubt a great way for anyone to learn complicated math.

Jerry tutored precalc for my high school senior. He was very personable. I asked my daughter for her honest opinion as to whether or not we should try a different tutor as this was her first session. The first session is an interview in a sense. She was adamant that Jerry was effective.

Great Algebra II tutor
Jerry explained the math concepts in a way that my son could easily understand. He had my son do practice problems to make sure that he understood the material that they were reviewing. He also made written notes that my son could refer to later. We will definitely use Jerry again.

Algebra 2 Crunch Time
My son was failing Algebra 2 quite miserably with about 4 weeks of school left. He had also accumulated several missing assignments because he just felt overwhelmed with Algebra 2. I contacted Jerry and asked him if thought that he could help, he said that he could. Jerry met with my son for 10 hours of tutoring over the next 3 to 3 1/2 weeks. Jerry's patience with my son and his ability to clearly explain Algebra 2 concepts resulted in him turning in eleven missing assignments, which of course helped raise his grade as homework was 40% of the grade, additionaly, my son scored 74% on his final exam (20% of his grade). He had failed the 3rd quarter, but because of Jerry working with him, he earned a C for the 4th quarter and a passing grade for the semester. I highly recommend Jerry D to anyone whose child is experiencing difficulty with Algebra 2. I only regret that I did not discover Jerry D much earlier!
