To me teaching is really rewarding, because I am able to see not only the growth of my students but also witness new possibilities and heights that they will be able to achieve with my guidance. To me teaching is really rewarding, because I am able to see not only the growth of my students but also witness new possibilities and heights that they will be able to achieve with my guidance. But, even more impactful is the fact that I see myself in these students. When they grow I grow also. When they overcome I overcome as well. Having accumulated a wealth of knowledge while studying at Art Center College of Design as well as gaining hands-on experience while working in the mobile game industry as 2D Game Artist, I hope to become a useful resource in helping my students reach their potentials and goals.

The skills which I tutor include Concept and Production Art for games or film, digital painting, Photoshop, Drawing, HTML, and general computer. I am also open to helping students work on art college entrance portfolios especially illustration, entertainment design, and entertainment arts. My goal is to make students more knowledgeable in the subjects I have mentioned above while challenging them to creatively apply their new learned knowledge. Therefore, I assign homework after each class to encourage and help students utilize what they have learned during each session.

I try to be flexible with time. While I do have a 24-hour cancellation policy, I offer makeup classes.

Due to the pandemic, I only teach online at the moment through, Wyzant online, zoom, or Skype.

I have learned and used Flash for over 3 years and continue to use it on my daily job! In Flash I am especially skilled in using the tools to creating vector based art and graphics and creating spreadsheets out of keyframe animations. I have tutored Flash to some of my coworkers and taught them how to properly edit shapes, shade objects using gradient, and stroke correctly to achieve cartoonish type looks. My method of tutoring usually involves creating simple yet practical examples of vector art in front of the student and in the process revealing different tools and ways of solving a graphical problems, as well as making it visually appealing. I use simple examples such as a bouncing ball to allow students to understand the core concepts of Flash animation such as "squash and stretch" or "ease in and ease out". My aim is not only to make the students learn the tools and function of Flash but also teaching them how to efficiently use the program to achieve maximum speed.

I graduated Art Center with a BFA in illustration and took a lot of acrylic and oil painting classes such as painting I, Figure Painting, Composition and Painting which were part of the illustration cuirriculum. As a 2D game artist I do digital painting almost everyday. I taught painting at EXR Art Center before.

Good tutor.

My two sons (9 year olds) very much enjoyed working with Isaak. They described him as calm, patient and nice. They are looking forward to another lesson with him. He was on time, and prepared. At the end of the lesson I saw that both boys had drawn something more sophisticated than they had drawn before.
