Much to my dismay I needed to do algebra, it rapidly became apparent to me that I had NO CLUE what I was doing. Tobian (Toby) came to my rescue, he was patient and understanding and not put off by my math sarcasm and even had me laughing and finally agreeing with some of his statements.... I mean really who knew 2x2x2 actually equals 8? If you need a math tutor I highly recommend Tobian.

Great Tutor
Toby is fantastic, he is patient and thorough and both my girls love working with him. We just moved here from across the country and he has really helped with the transition and both girls received "A's" on their progress report.

Friendly, fun, sweet and thorough
My daughter has met with Tobian twice so far. After the first tutor session, she had a math test and scored 80% on her test in which she has not had a score higher than a D all year. After the second tutor session she went to math class, in which they were doing a ton of problems together as a class. She knew ALL of the problems, raised her hand to answer them all (and they were correct) and finished 10 minutes before everyone else. The math teacher allowed her to help the other students in the class. She was on cloud nine. Came home and whizzed through her math homework. I've never felt so happy, thrilled and rewarded. And I can't thank Tobian enough! He has been so patient, fun and exactly what my daughter needed to gain back her confidence that she had lost. I just thought I would share! We would highly recommend him! Thank you Toby!

What can I say? Tobian saved my academic life! I had a huge presentation to give and was so afraid of public speaking. Great first lesson for public speaking
Great first lesson. I learned how to structure a short speech with the correct components to keep an audience tuned in. We'll see how it goes from there!
