I currently teach mathematics at an alternative school, where I work with students of diverse abilities and learning styles. My personal motto, "If It Is To Be, It Is Up To Me!", encourages students to take ownership of their learning while developing confidence, perseverance, and a growth mindset. I am also completing my certification as a life coach, allowing me to support students academically while building motivation and self-confidence.
I specialize in elementary math, middle school math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, and strengthening foundational math skills. Every lesson is personalized to fit each student's needs. I break down challenging concepts into manageable steps, use real-world examples, and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. My goal is to help students truly understand mathematics and not just memorize procedures.
To ensure a successful tutoring experience, I offer a free consultation to discuss goals and learning needs. I ask for at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or schedule changes, and I will provide my tutoring policies by email before our first lesson.
