I coach serious competition-math students on the AMC/AIME/USAMO pathway through a structured training system built over 10+ years.

I coach serious competition-math students on the AMC/AIME/USAMO pathway through a structured training system built over 10+ years.

I work with students across the full pipeline: first-time AMC students, AIME qualifiers pushing higher, and advanced students targeting USAJMO/USAMO-level proof depth. My coaching focuses on the skills that actually move scores: problem selection, pattern recognition, time strategy, and proof-writing discipline. I work with families who want a serious, structured program: 2–3 sessions per week, assigned training between sessions, and measurable performance tracking.

Track record: students I’ve coached have qualified for AIME, USAJMO, and USAMO, with many showing major year-over-year score jumps through consistent weekly training. Over 10+ years, I’ve coached students from early AMC prep through national-level competition results, including AIME/USAJMO/USAMO outcomes. The focus is always the same: advanced heuristics, time-efficient execution, proof-writing maturity, and consistent competitive growth.

Background:
UC Berkeley (CS major, Applied Math minor)
AMC 8 perfect score (25)
AMC 10: 144 | AMC 12: 150
AIME: 13 (4-time qualifier)
2-time USAMO qualifier

Additional testing:
SAT - 2390 (800 Writing, 800 Math, 790 Reading), SAT Math II - 800, ACT - 36 (35 English, 36 Math, 36 Reading, 36 Science, 12 Writing), 5 on 10 AP tests (Calculus BC, Calculus AB, Chemistry, English Lang, Physics B, Physics C: E&M, Physics C: Mechanics, World History, US History, Macroeconomics)

Who this is for:
Students committed to competitive math excellence
Families seeking a long-term edge, not occasional homework support
Students ready for disciplined weekly training

If your student is aiming for high-level contest outcomes, message me with:
1) current grade
2) recent AMC/AIME results
3) target goal (AIME / USAJMO / USAMO)
4) weekly time available for prep

I’ll recommend a clear training plan and next steps.
