Hi, I’m Rene, a professional musician and educator with over 20 years of experience teaching students of all ages and skill levels. I graduated from the Musicians Institute, one of the world's top contemporary music schools, where I trained in performance, theory, and pedagogy.

I was the former lead guitarist for Masters of Puppets, an international touring act that brought Metallica’s music to audiences worldwide. I also had the honor of singing five minutes after jazz legend Herbie Hancock at the 50K Lions of Justice Festival, performing for 60,000 people at a world peace event.

Patient teacher - did his research!

Rene helped me with my Tonex software. He took me on a "tour" of the features, answered my questions, and was very patient & kind. There was an issue we couldn't resolve. BUT, even though the session was over Rene did more research until he found a resolution, and messaged it to me. He went above and beyond the call of duty!
