I have a strong academic foundation in mathematics and extensive tutoring experience that allows me to help students of all ages build confidence in their learning. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Economics as well as a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. While at UMass Amherst, I worked as a teacher’s assistant for two years, teaching pre-calculus and calculus concepts to first- and second-year students. I also led large review sessions before exams for lecture halls of over 300 students, ensuring they had a solid understanding of key mathematical concepts.

Beyond my college experience, I have been tutoring privately in Las Vegas for over three months, working with more than six students ranging from ages 3 to 18. My tutoring spans multiple subjects, including math, reading, and science, tailoring my teaching style to fit each student's unique learning needs. Growing up with two younger siblings, I developed patience and a natural ability to explain complex topics in a way that younger students can easily understand. My approach focuses on making learning engaging and accessible, whether through interactive exercises, real-world applications, or step-by-step problem-solving techniques.

I strive to create a supportive learning environment where students not only improve their academic skills but also develop confidence in their abilities. Whether helping a young child with early math concepts or guiding an older student through advanced coursework, my goal is to make learning a positive and rewarding experience.
