While active duty in the Air Force, I was responsible for teaching the phase II students as they would do rotations in the emergency room on base. Over the course of 2 years, I taught over 4,000 EMT-B's to become proficient in their field. As a paramedic, I have tutored dozens of classes at the EMT-B all the way up to the EMT-P level. Classes and tutoring have given students a chance to gain confidence in their hands-on skills as well as boost their knowledge in medicine. As a biologist, I have worked under a PI for over a year doing cancer research, taken my MCAT and am currently applying to medical schools. With a strong biology and chemistry background and real-world experience in the field, I am able to break down concepts for students in a more comprehensive way.
