Hi! My name is Zoe. I am an elementary through high school mathematics, reading, and writing tutor dedicated to helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Additionally, I tutor students of all ages in the Barton Reading & Spelling System, an Orton-Gillingham based reading program for students with dyslexia. With over five years of tutoring experience, I have had the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and learning styles, including students with dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, and ADHD, allowing me to adapt my teaching approach to each student's unique needs.

I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics and hold an Associate of Arts degree in Language and Communications with a 4.0 GPA. I enjoy studying math, reading literature, and writing, and love sharing my passion for learning with my students. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing new skills, and reaching their full potential.

I tailor lessons to each student’s learning style, focusing on building understanding rather than memorization. I use clear explanations, practical examples, and guided problem-solving to help students gain confidence and develop independent learning skills. My students have shown measurably improved scores on standardized tests at their schools, and I've been personally complimented for significant improvements in my students’ grades and confidence in their given subject after being under my instruction.

Lessons are structured and growth oriented, and I am ready to adjust them to fit your preferences and learning style! I combine patience, adaptability, and a strong focus on student understanding. My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to build confidence, critical thinking, and long-term academic success. I can’t wait to meet you and support you through your education journey!

Great Tutor for my Third Grade Son

Great experience so far. Zoelle is easy to work with and flexible, and my 3rd grader really enjoys the sessions. He stays engaged, doesn’t complain, and actually looks forward to it, which says a lot. Very happy with the experience.

My kids love Zoelle

Zoelle has been helping my 7th and also my 5th grader with their math. We were homeschooling for 2 years and recently decided to try public school again. My kids had already mastered these skills through homeschool but found that the teaching methods in public school were different and began to struggle after their transition (the 7th grader more than the 5th grader). Zoelle is very clear and patient with both of my kids. They leave their sessions with a better understanding of what they are doing and more confidence. I have booked with Zoelle now several times and will continue to do so to further my child's understanding. Zoelle is always kind and flexible when it comes to scheduling. We appreciate Zoelle very much! <3
