My name is Pascale. I am a native French speaker, born in Versailles. I graduated from the University of Paris with a Master’s degree in Education and now live in the United States, in Nevada. I have been teaching 20 years in a multi-faceted environment including one-on-one tuition, and in the classroom. I have experience teaching at all levels from elementary school to university, using a palette of techniques leading to easy assimilation of the language by the student. My lessons focus on the four aspects of language learning for everyday life: Listening and speaking, reading and writing.
I started to teach in France in elementary schools. When I moved in United States, I worked as a French substitute teacher in high schools. In order to enrich my professional experience, I taught at college-level and worked for foreign language institutions providing immersion programs to children, and adults. Concurrently, I have been tutoring High School students, in collaboration with their teachers, to help them improve their skills, grades and self-confidence in the language.
I am eager to share with you my knowledge not only of French language but also French culture, society and way of life. I offer a variety of courses whether you’re starting from scratch, studying at school, brushing up on your conversational skills or practicing business French for the workplace. I can also create specialized courses for those who have professional goals.
