Graduated with 4.0 GPA. Hold MA degree in Russian, minor in Italian from accredited university in the USA. Successfully taught Italian, Russian and ESL in several community colleges and language schools in USA and Europe.

For over ten years I have taught foreign languages at all levels in different educational settings. I taught 1st and 2nd-year Italian courses including conversational courses, prepared syllabus, designed lesson plans with assignments and tests, conducted oral assessments, as well as created and lead extra-curricular activities. In addition, I researched new materials for the department, participated in career development seminars and conferences and organized cultural events. Moreover, I provided individual support outside of classroom instruction. Besides teaching traditional language classes, I enjoyed teaching courses that combined aspects of both language and culture; for example, I designed and offered seminars on Italy through Cinema, Russian Literature in Film and Russian Literature in Translation at one of the community schools in NJ.

While living in Europe, I taught ESL courses at a language school to working professionals.

For seventeen years I have been working as a book critic and editor for several literary Russian-American literary magazines and almanacs where I have been involved in selecting and editing material for the upcoming issues, sourcing for new authors and writing literary reviews on modern Russian poetry and prose.

Besides having strong foreign languages teaching experience, I am an accomplished poet and writer – an author of four poetry books published in the USA, Russia and Ukraine. Overall the list of my poetry, prose, translations, literary essays and reviews includes more than two hundred publications in literary editions in Russia, Ukraine, USA, France, Germany and Belgium.
